The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival is here, bringing a bounty of free rewards, and the star attraction is a free Star-Lord outfit! Here's how to snag this coveted skin during the Fortune & Colors event.
How to Get the Free Star-Lord Skin in Marvel Rivals' Fortune & Colors Event
To unlock the Star-Lord skin, you'll need to collect Danqing, an in-game currency represented by a paintbrush icon. Earn Danqing by completing challenges in the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode, as well as Quick Play and Competitive matches.
While daily challenges rotate, the event quests remain consistent. Here are the currently available Fortune & Colors quests:
- Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions matches.
- Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match.
Once you've accumulated enough Danqing, head to the event pass to redeem your rewards. The Star-Lord Lion's Mane skin requires 900 Danqing. While that might seem like a lot, the Fortune & Colors event runs until February 14th, giving you ample time to complete the necessary challenges.

Try the Star-Lord Skin Without Unlocking It!
Don't want to grind for Danqing? No problem! The Clash of Dancing Lions mode—think Rocket League with superheroes—features Star-Lord, Black Widow, and Iron Fist, each sporting a Spring Festival skin. Simply playing this mode lets you try out all three skins.
If you enjoy the skins and want to add them to your collection, check out the in-game store. The Dancing Lions bundle offers the Iron Fist Lion's Gaze and Black Widow Lion's Heartbeat skins for 2,800 Units (approximately $20). This represents a significant saving compared to purchasing the skins individually.
