Week two of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is in full swing, sending players on a thrilling scavenger hunt. But one seemingly simple task—studying a Historical Display—is proving surprisingly tricky for some. Here's how to overcome this hurdle.
One of Week 2's quests requires you to study a Historical Display located within a museum. Long-time players likely know where their local museum is. However, newcomers should open their in-game map and look for the pillar icon representing museums. While four are available in the base game, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other Blast from the Past tasks.
Once you arrive at a museum, finding the display is straightforward. Both paintings and sculptures qualify as Historical Displays. Simply click on the item that catches your eye and select "View." The completion of the challenge will be indicated by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Despite the task's simplicity, many players report difficulties. Mods appear to be interfering, preventing the "View" option from appearing. Some players have even resorted to removing all their mods, but with no guaranteed success. We hope EA addresses this issue soon. In the meantime, trying multiple displays at different museums is the best workaround.
