Ticket to Ride: Legendary Asia Unveils Novel Characters and Maps

Marmalade Game Studio expands the popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, with its fourth major expansion: Legendary Asia. This new expansion offers a captivating journey through the diverse landscapes of Asia, introducing new challenges and rewards for seasoned players and newcomers alike.

Legendary Asia: A Journey Through Asia

Explore the breathtaking scenery of Asia by train in this latest expansion. Two new characters join the adventure: Wang Ling, a renowned opera singer, and Lê Chinh, a worldly artisan with unparalleled knowledge of the region. These characters unlock access to impressive locomotives, including the Emperor, the Mountain Maiden, and the luxurious Silk Zephyr carriage, along with the spiritually themed Pagoda Pilgrim carriage.

Strategic gameplay remains at the heart of Legendary Asia, with the addition of a new scoring mechanic. The Asian Explorer Bonus rewards players for creating the longest routes and connecting the most cities. However, points are only awarded for the first visit to each city, demanding careful route planning to avoid unproductive loops and detours.

A Historical Perspective:

The game map is set in 1913, offering a unique historical perspective on the geopolitical landscape of Asia. This includes a unified Korea, a different depiction of India (with its western provinces incorporated into Bangladesh), Iraq encompassing Kuwait, and a borderless Africa.

Legendary Asia is available now on the Google Play Store. Embark on your own adventure along the Silk Road or through the challenging Himalayan mountain passes!
