- Tinkatink and its evolutionary line debut in Pokémon Go for the first time
- Additional Paldea region Pokémon are also joining the action
- Players can earn a variety of exciting rewards
The Horizons Celebration returns to Pokémon Go, introducing something shiny, powerful, and delightfully pink—Tinkatink has arrived. Tinkatink, along with its evolutions Tinkatuff and Tinkaton, are making their first appearance in a special event running from April 16th to 22nd.
The hammers these Pokémon carry aren't just decorative. Tinkaton is famous for hurling rocks at Corviknight, and now you can evolve your own by collecting candy throughout the event. You’ll need approximately 125 Candy to reach the final evolution stage.
Along with Tinkatink's debut, there’s a new costumed variant to discover. Floragato, wearing a hat adorned with Liko’s pin, can be found in the wild, hatched from Eggs, and encountered in Raids. Lucky trainers might even find a Shiny version. Other Pokémon such as Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet may also appear.

A selection of popular Paldea Pokémon, including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi, are appearing in the wild. Meanwhile, 7 km Eggs may hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance of hatching Tinkatink. Be sure to try the snapshot feature for surprise photobombs from Horizons characters and their Pokémon.

In battle, Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat knows the special move Volt Tackle. Raids feature a strong lineup including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Bonus hunters will appreciate the increased frequency of Team Go Rocket balloons, halved Egg hatch distances, and boosted Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards.
Event-specific Field Research is available, along with free and paid Timed Research offering extra rewards such as an exclusive avatar pose. You can also prepare for the event by purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
