The competition within the gacha gaming sector is intensifying, with the latest financial reports from February 2025 showing a dip in earnings for some leading titles. Enthusiasts of these games are keenly observing the financial trends, and new data sheds light on the performance of these popular games during this period.
miHoYo, now recognized as HoYoverse, manages three significant titles, all of which saw a decrease in revenue last month.
Honkai Star Rail slipped to the fourth spot, with its revenue dropping from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, which previously enjoyed a revenue surge thanks to the Mavuika banner event, fell to sixth place with a sharp decline from over $99 million to $26.3 million. Zenless Zone Zero, ranking eighth, experienced a decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans have reason to be optimistic as upcoming updates with new characters are set to boost the earnings of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.
In contrast, Pokemon TCG Pocket led the pack in February 2025, amassing an impressive $79 million in revenue. Following closely, Love and Deepspace secured the second position with $49.5 million, while Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle took third place, earning $47 million.
