Netmarble's highly acclaimed mobile game, Tower of God: New World, inspired by the popular webtoon series, is set to introduce two exciting new characters in its upcoming update. This update also introduces the Pioneer's Remnant System, an exciting feature designed for dedicated players who have mastered the tower's challenges.
The first character, Xia Xia, enters the game as an SSR+ Elite Spy with the Red Element and is tagged as a Support and Light Bearer. Xia Xia's unique skill set includes powerful Area of Effect (AoE) support abilities combined with HP recovery skills, making her an invaluable asset to any team. The second character, Zahard, marks a significant milestone as the first character to be introduced with the new XSR+ grade. Zahard is an Adventurer with the Green Element and holds the tags of Warrior and Fisherman, bringing a fresh dynamic to the gameplay.
The newly introduced XSR+ grade is designed to differentiate characters that are either an Imaginary (IF) version of an SSR+ character or have an alternate appearance. Although XSR+ characters share animations and basic skills with their SSR+ counterparts, they are distinguished by their unique Revolution skills, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.
These new characters are further enhanced by the addition of the Pioneer's Remnant System. By successfully completing Hard Mode, players can earn the titular resource, which can be exchanged for valuable growth materials and other rewards. This system is tailored for players who have already conquered the most challenging stages of the tower.
