Pokémon GO's "Inbound from Ultra Space" event: A five-day Ultra Beast extravaganza!

Get ready for a week of intense raiding as Pokémon GO announces its "Inbound from Ultra Space" event, running from July 8th to 13th, 2024. This five-day event brings back a host of Ultra Beasts, but with a twist – regional exclusivity!

Ultra Beasts Return, but Location Matters

Nine Ultra Beasts will reappear in five-star raids. However, securing them all requires global travel, as many are region-locked:

  • Asia-Pacific: Xurkitree
  • EMEA & India: Pheromosa
  • Americas & Greenland: Buzzwole
  • Eastern Hemisphere: Stakataka
  • Western Hemisphere: Blacephalon
  • Southern Hemisphere: Celesteela
  • Northern Hemisphere: Kartana

Timed Research offers another path to capture these powerful Pokémon, with Stakataka and Blacephalon boasting special Pokédex entries. New event-themed backgrounds will also be available through raids and wild catches.

Event Bonuses & Raid Passes

The event includes significant bonuses:

  • Increased daily Remote Raid Pass limit (20, then unlimited from July 12th-14th).
  • Guaranteed Candy XL for trades (Trainers level 31+).

"Inbound from Ultra Space" Event Details

  • Dates: July 8th (10:00 a.m.) – July 13th (10:00 a.m.) local time.
  • Raids: Five-star raids featuring rotating Ultra Beasts daily, with a Raid Hour (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. local time) each day. Specific raid Pokémon are listed in the original article. Shiny encounters are possible!
  • Timed Research: Available throughout the event, rewarding encounters with various Ultra Beasts (including Stakataka and Blacephalon with special backgrounds).

Inbound from Ultra Space Ticket

For $5 (or equivalent), purchase a Timed Research ticket for exclusive bonuses:

  • 5,000 XP from completed raids
  • 2x Stardust from winning Ultra Beast Raids
  • Bonus Candy & Candy XL from five-star raids
  • Up to 2 free Raid Passes from Gyms (10 with GO Fest 2024 Global ticket)
  • Numerous Candy XL rewards for specific Ultra Beasts
  • 2024 Stardust and a Star Piece

The ticket is available from July 8th (10:00 a.m.) to July 14th (6:00 p.m.) local time, and can be gifted to Great Friends or higher. Purchase on the Pokémon GO Web Store (before July 14th, 6:00 p.m. PDT) includes a Premium Battle Pass.

New Special Backgrounds

Catch Pokémon from raids to unlock special backgrounds for their summary pages.

Global Challenge

A Global Challenge runs from July 7th (4:00 p.m. PDT) to July 12th (12:00 p.m. PDT). Completion unlocks Beast Balls for GO Fest 2024: Global and faster Party Power charging.

Pokémon GO Web Store Offers

Special bundles are available on the Pokémon GO Web Store, including the Ultra Storage Box, Ultra Raid Box, and Ultra Hatch Box. PTC accounts can now access the store, with a 15% discount on first purchases over $9.99.
