After the exciting March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now unlock the elusive Fire Seal by clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Below, we'll guide you through obtaining each item and successfully unlocking the Fire Seal.
Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria
The Faceted Rock Gem, a rare artifact, awaits you within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the latest game version, then venture into the mines and explore Floors 50-59. Our team discovered this gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. Like other artifacts, you can unearth the Faceted Rock Gem using a pickaxe or shovel in designated spots. Be prepared for a bit of a grind, as it's not an easy find.
Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria
Rockroot, a common forageable, can be found between Floors 50-59 of the mines. If you're a regular mine explorer, you might already have this in your inventory. Keep an eye out for the distinctive dark, root-like plant, as shown in the image. You'll only need one to complete the Priestess' altar.
Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria
Emeralds are the simplest items to collect for the Fire Seal offerings. These gems are scattered throughout Floors 50-59 of the mines within geodes. They're fairly abundant, so you should have no trouble gathering them, especially if you've been storing them. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchasing them from Balor’s Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the new Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, crafting them is another efficient option.
How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria
The final piece of the puzzle, the Sealing Scroll, is linked to a quest that kicks off after you meet Juniper post-discovery of the seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but this comes with a cost. To secure the Sealing Scroll, gather the following:
- x10 Silver Ingots
- x10 Rubies
- x10 Sapphires
- x10 Emeralds
If you're short on any of these, head back to the mines to collect them. Once you have everything, deposit the items in the bin near Balor’s Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in hand, make your way to Floor 60 of the mines to offer these items. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and more content during the Early Access phase of *Fields of Mistria*.
