TouchArcade Rating:
Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite elements, promising a highly replayable monster-catching experience. The Steam page highlights features such as 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and whether its release coincides with the Switch and Steam versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing, particularly its potential as a quick, engaging mobile title, judging by the Steam screenshots. In the meantime, the original Coromon is available for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
