With Version 5.5, Genshin Impact Is Finally Adding Controller Support for Android

Genshin Impact players on Android rejoice! Controller support is finally arriving with Version 5.5, launching March 26th, 2025. This long-awaited feature, available to iOS users since 2021, will allow for a more comfortable gaming experience. Supported controllers include the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 (all Bluetooth-enabled).

Version 5.5 isn't just about controllers; it also brings several quality-of-life improvements. Cross-scene quest tracking allows seamless navigation between areas via the in-game map. Updated boss guides will aid new players in understanding enemy mechanics. Further optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system; full details will be revealed during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
