The wait is over—Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, from the creators of Life is Strange, has arrived

The acclaimed French studio Don't Nod, known for their work on *Life is Strange*, has just released the first chapter of their latest narrative-driven game. Players can now immerse themselves in *Tape 1*, with *Tape 2* set to be available for free to all buyers starting April 15.

First announced in 2023, this game delves into the story of a tight-knit group of friends who were mysteriously separated during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the specters of that fateful summer resurface, bringing with them chilling repercussions that none of the friends could have anticipated.

Inspired by classics like *It*, *Yellowjackets*, and *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, the game skillfully weaves together elements of nostalgia and psychological thriller. Don't Nod has decided to release the game in two parts: *Bloom* and *Rage*. As of today, February 18, only the first installment of this eerie narrative, *Bloom*, is accessible to players.

The eagerly awaited second part, dubbed "The Tape," is scheduled for release on April 15. Initially planned for a March launch, the delay aims to deliver a more refined gaming experience.

With the review embargo now lifted, *OpenCritic* has reported an average critic score of 74/100, indicating a promising debut for this enthralling mystery.
