World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!
World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for six months or more! The highlight is the majestic Timbered Sky Snake mount for retail WoW and the adorable Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, are available to all players who purchase a six-month subscription or are already on a recurring subscription plan by January 31, 2025. Redemption is required before January 31, 2026.
This tradition of bonus subscription rewards, started in 2018, continues with a yearly theme based on the lunar Zodiac. Previous rewards, such as the Auspicious Arborwyrm (2024), have been popular among players.
The Timbered Sky Snake is a flying mount for the current version of WoW, while the Timbered Air Snakelet is its smaller counterpart for Cataclysm Classic. These items can also be purchased separately from the in-game shop for $25 and $10, respectively. A separate Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for retail WoW is also available for $10 on the Battle.net shop but isn't included in the subscription offer.

Existing subscribers are also eligible for these rewards. All qualifying Battle.net accounts will receive the items by January 31, 2025.

Twelve-month subscribers receive even more! In addition to the six-month rewards, they'll also receive the Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts for retail WoW, and the Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet for Classic WoW. They'll also automatically receive the July six-month subscription rewards, making it a highly attractive deal for mount collectors.
