Dragonflight initiated a major UI overhaul for World of Warcraft, addressing long-standing issues. "The War Within" continues this trend, introducing a wave of beta-tested UI refinements expected in the pre-patch.

The map now boasts numerous new icons and filters for easier content identification. The legend clarifies icon meanings, ensuring players can readily locate desired activities. Tooltips provide more detailed information, such as visible side quests in settlements.
Search bars significantly improve navigation. The spellbook search differentiates between ability names and descriptions, mirroring the quest log's name and objective filtering. The character selection screen allows searching by name, class, profession, and location, simplifying management of multiple characters.
The transmog system gains class-based sorting and tooltips verifying character compatibility. Unlocking transmog appearances on any character, irrespective of weapon or armor proficiency, enhances flexibility.
These UI enhancements, along with potential further refinements, are anticipated in the "The War Within" pre-patch. While an official release date remains unannounced, July 23rd is a strong possibility, bringing these welcome improvements closer.
