Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snow-Filled Second Half
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat in the latter half of January 2025. While the first half of the month saw relatively few additions, the second half is shaping up to be a strong contender, boasting several exciting day-one releases.
Leading the charge is Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a co-op and PvP skiing game launching on January 21st. This marks another day-one addition to the Ultimate tier, a trend established since the recent tier changes.
The January 2025 Game Pass additions also include:
- January 2: Carrion
- January 7: Road 96
- January 14: Diablo (PC Game Pass) and EA Sports UFC 3 (Ultimate)
- January 21: Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Ultimate)
- January 28: Eternal Strands (Ultimate)
- January 30: Sniper Elite: Resistance (Ultimate)
- January 31: Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (Ultimate)
Beyond Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, an action-adventure game with strong Zelda influences from BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw's Yellow Brick Games, is another highly anticipated title arriving on January 28th. Both titles, along with the other day-one releases, will be available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers at no extra cost.
February 2025's Game Pass lineup remains largely unannounced, with only Avowed (Ultimate) confirmed for February 18th. Until then, Ultimate subscribers can enjoy the robust selection of games hitting Game Pass in the second half of January.
