Yoshi-P Appeals for Considerate Modding Practices

In a recent PC Gamer interview, Yoshi-P emphasized his hope that the community would steer clear of mods containing objectionable content as the PC version debuts. While director Hiroshi Takai was asked about potential humorous mods, Yoshi-P specifically addressed concerns regarding inappropriate modifications.
"I'd rather not suggest specific mod ideas since that might seem like encouragement," Yoshida explained. "Our only request is that players refrain from developing or downloading anything offensive or inappropriate."

Having overseen multiple Final Fantasy titles, Yoshi-P is undoubtedly familiar with controversial mods available on platforms like Nexusmods and Steam. While many mods enhance graphics or add crossover content (like FF15's Half-Life costumes), others venture into NSFW territory—precisely what the producer hopes to prevent.
The PC version introduces significant technical upgrades including 240fps support and advanced upscaling. Amid these achievements, Yoshi-P aims to maintain the game's respectful community environment by discouraging inappropriate modifications.
