Clash of Clans is set to roll out a monumental update in March 2025, responding to years of player feedback. This update promises to be one of the most significant in the game's history, with numerous features set to be retired.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine attacking back-to-back without any wait times! The upcoming update eliminates training times for troops, spells, and siege machines, making battles more fast-paced and engaging than ever before. Additionally, hero recovery time is being removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready to join the fray. These changes will apply to players in the Titan League and below, although the Legend League will maintain its eight-battle daily limit for now.
This transformative shift aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training times further enhances player freedom, allowing uninterrupted play without artificial barriers.
Alongside these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out as they become obsolete. They will no longer be available in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
The new Match Anytime system is a game-changer. When real player bases are scarce, you can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles function just like regular ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already familiar from Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is expanding to multiplayer battles.
To balance the increased battle frequency, adjustments to Trophy Curves are on the way. The number of trophies earned per victory will be reduced. Furthermore, Clan Castle request timers will be standardized at 10 minutes for all players, ensuring a more consistent experience across the board.
