Ronda Carta: A Moroccan Card Game Classic
Ronda Carta is the most beloved card game in Morocco, a family-friendly game evoking nostalgia. It's fun, simple, easy to learn, and relaxing. The objective is to accumulate the highest point total (cards and bonuses). Played head-to-head, one player deals, the other starts. Each player receives three cards. The game concludes when all cards are dealt, with the highest scorer declared the victor. Remember Ronda, Tringa, Missa, Souta, and other familiar terms?
The game uses a 40-card deck with four suits:
- 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
- 10 Espadas (Syouf)
- 10 Oros (D'hab)
- 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)
Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
