Folklore tells us the mandarin duck pot is also known as the Yin and Yang pot. On Mid-Autumn Festival, the living eat from the red pot, the dead from the white, and the living use the red pot to honor the deceased. "Yin Yang Pot" is a Chinese horror suspense puzzle game built around this tradition. The story begins with a reunion of old friends, but soon Yin and Yang are tragically separated. Why disturb the souls of others when you are already suffering?

The game unfolds in a mountain city, with hot pot as the central theme. Hot pot, mahjong, and an air-raid shelter weave a magical, and chilling, tale.
