What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
An animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. It follows the journey of a high school volleyball team.
Once called a "fallen powerhouse, a flightless crow," Karasuno High School now sets its sights on the national stage—the “top.”
A passionate youth volleyball story unfolds through the main character, Shoyo Hinata, who is captivated by the sport, and a cast of unique personalities.
In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical film, continuing the anime's story, is in production.
