Customizable Dashboard
The dashboard is designed to provide quick access to essential features, along with options to customize layout and content.
Important: Every page in the app has its own options menu. When a page is open, tap the menu (hamburger) icon to view its settings.
Maps, Search for Places, Points of Interest & Turn-by-Turn Navigation
Google Maps shows your current location, address, and live traffic, and lets you customize map themes and layouts. Search for places, save them to lists for easy navigation later, and get directions and turn-by-turn guidance using Google APIs. Additional navigation tools include statistics and logs for all your trips.
Music Playback and Video Watching
Car Penguin comes with its own media player, offering playback controls for local audio and video files, album lists, and a page for shortcuts to other apps. You can also pin popular media apps as external widgets on the dashboard or toggle bar.
Smartphone Integration
Access your contacts and favorites to make calls using your system’s default dialer or transfer calls via Bluetooth to your phone. For Bluetooth call transfer, call log sync, and SMS features, the free Car Penguin Server app (available at http://carpenguin.com) must be installed on your phone.
