Halma, also known as Ugolki or куточки уголки, is a strategic board game played offline. This version boasts significantly improved artificial intelligence (AI), with completely revamped AI engines in 2020 and 2021.
Originally conceived in 1883 or 1884 by George Howard Monks, an American thoracic surgeon at Harvard Medical School, Halma draws inspiration from the English game, Hoppity. The game utilizes a checkered board with black and white pieces for two players, or multiple colors for games with four players. Pieces start in opposing corners. The objective is to move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite corner. Movement involves either moving a piece to an adjacent empty square or performing a series of jumps over other pieces.
Key Features:
- Three AI difficulty levels.
- Free to play.
- Three visually appealing board skins.
Latest Update (July 25, 2024): SDK updated.
