Today marks Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced a fresh way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This event shifts the focus from taking steps to planting flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this exciting new event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom runs from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, instead of counting your steps, you'll be tracking the number of flowers you plant. Every single bloom contributes to the global total.
To make a difference, you'll need to actively plant flowers. This event perfectly aligns with Earth Day's theme, promoting more greenery and purposeful action. Pikmin Bloom rewards your efforts in a fun and engaging way.
The collective effort of planting flowers during the event can unlock special weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can unlock:
- If the total reaches 500 million flowers, participants will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin.
- At 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin.
- Should the community push the total to 1.5 billion flowers, you'll earn a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin.
But Keep This in Mind
To ensure your flowers are counted, you must join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Update your app to version 117 and sign up for the event. If you haven't yet, download the game from the Google Play Store.
