A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to equip Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by Twitter user BSPGamin and highlighted by Dexerto, is considered a non-official method and is therefore subject to removal in future updates.
This exploit requires a second player. The process begins in a private Warzone match. Player one equips a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot and joins a friend's lobby. Player one then equips an MW3 weapon, selects the desired camo, and rapidly presses the camo selection button while the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves the match. Player one repeats the camo selection spamming while the friend rejoins the private match. If successful, the MW3 camo will now be applied to the BO6 weapon.
Many players see this as a desirable feature, given that meta weapons in Warzone often originate from BO6, while many players have already earned impressive camos in MW3. The lack of cross-camo compatibility between titles has frustrated players who have invested time and effort in unlocking mastery camos.
Meanwhile, Treyarch Studios has acknowledged player feedback regarding the absence of in-game challenge tracking in BO6 (a feature present in MW3). They've confirmed that this feature will be added in a future update. This update should improve the experience for players still working towards unlocking BO6 mastery camos.
