Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Grinding with New Tracking Feature
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that streamlines camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly eases the grind towards coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula. Let's explore how it works.
The new Camo Challenge Tracker allows players to manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges for easy, real-time monitoring. No more tedious menu checks! The system also proactively alerts players to near-completion challenges, even those not actively tracked.
Tracking Your Progress
To add a challenge to your tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge. Press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracked list. You can then view your progress during matches, eliminating post-game analysis.
Even without manually tracking a challenge, the game automatically highlights those nearing completion. This information is readily accessible for quick reference. Additionally, the Daily Challenges section in the Black Ops 6 lobby displays a complete list of near-complete camos and calling cards.
Simplified Camo Unlocking
Season 2 also simplifies camo unlocking. Previously, unlocking special camos required nine preceding military camos. This has been reduced to five, making the path to mastery camos less arduous. However, two special camos are still needed before earning mastery camos.
This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness improves the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
