A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is launching on Android! The name itself is a clever blend of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's unique premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers did, and the result is a perpetually spinning, gravity-defying feline spectacle!
Initially showcased at the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam by Team Woll, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its full development. Already available on Steam for PC, the Android version is on its way. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register via the official TapTap page.

This puzzle platformer puts you in control of both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Work together to solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore five whimsical worlds filled with quirky contraptions. Over 200 levels await, including side quests and hidden story elements to uncover. Plus, there are 30 unique outfits to dress your cat in!
The gameplay mechanics are innovative: the cat exhibits typical feline agility, while the toast acts as a controllable projectile. Power up the toast for long-distance throws, assisting the cat in reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. Expect hidden rooms and plenty of Easter eggs to discover!
