TRAGsoft is developing a new roguelike spin-off for its popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon. Announced for nearly all major platforms, including Android, Coromon: Rogue Planet is slated for a 2025 release.
What's New?
The newly released trailer gives us a glimpse into the exciting features of Coromon: Rogue Planet. Here's a breakdown:
This title blends classic Coromon turn-based combat with roguelite elements. Players explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten biomes that shift with each playthrough.
A unique "rescue and recruit" system lets you unlock seven playable characters, each with a distinct playstyle, by aiding them in the wild. Over 130 monsters await, each boasting unique elemental affinities, personalities, and abilities.
A meta-progression system allows for continuous character and equipment upgrades, enhancing your power as you progress. You'll also gather resources and contribute to an interstellar spaceship mystery alongside other players.
