Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's cosmic horror and the iconic Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of classic dungeon-building and Lovecraftian themes.
Players will establish and expand their own cult, sowing fear and chaos in the 1920s setting. Building a lair, researching arcane arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monsters are key elements of gameplay. Recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level operations, and completing objectives will help players grow their influence. However, rival cults and the authorities pose a constant threat, necessitating the strategic use of traps and spells to defend the lair.
