Uncover the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in My Father Lied, a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title, a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to unravel the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the recent revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after the team dissolved, mastering game design to bring his vision to life. The game employs classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging players to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore breathtaking, albeit hauntingly beautiful, environments. Drawing inspiration from Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft, My Father Lied promises a unique and unforgettable experience.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen achieved high-quality visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
My Father Lied will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! While mobile pre-registration isn't yet available, stay updated by following Lunar Games on X, Discord, TikTok, or Instagram. A Kickstarter campaign is also on the horizon, so keep an eye out!
