Here's the official description:
Civilization VII - VR brings the world of Civilization to life like never before. The game unfolds on a Command Table, allowing players to zoom in for intricate detail or zoom out for a grand strategic overview. Interact directly with world leaders, forging alliances or declaring war across the ages.
Play in immersive VR or mixed reality, seamlessly switching between modes. The VR experience places you in an ornate museum overlooking a personalized vista; mixed reality adapts the Command Table to your physical space. Detailed dioramas showcasing your accomplishments are viewable in The Archives. Engage in online multiplayer matches with up to three other players.
The PC and console versions of Civilization VII, currently available via early access, have received mixed player feedback on Steam, citing UI issues, limited map variety, and missing features. Firaxis has acknowledged this criticism and pledged improvements, including UI refinements, cooperative multiplayer teams, and expanded map options.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in an interview with IGN, addressed the negative reviews, expressing confidence that the core Civilization fanbase will embrace the game with more playtime and describing its early performance as "very encouraging."
