Developer Mūn Mūn Games has unveiled Out Fishing, a deceptive first-person fishing experience that begins as tranquil before descending into nighttime horror. Currently in development for PC, this atmospheric game subverts expectations with its unsettling duality.
The creative team describes the experience: "Navigate a serene yet unnerving wilderness teeming with secrets. Pursue elusive fish and uncover scattered fragments of forgotten history. While daylight provides respite, darkness brings terrors – progress demands risking exploration beyond your fragile campsite, where reality begins dissolving."

The game's dynamic weather system and day/night cycle dramatically alter fishing conditions and environmental threats. Players progressively upgrade their gear and skills – from simple tackle to specialized equipment and aquatic vehicles – while maintaining their vital camp/sanctuary. The reveals trailer demonstrates this striking genre blend.
Out Fishing's promotional tagline warns adventurers they may "catch something far more disturbing than fish." The atmospheric horror-fishing hybrid is currently available for wishlisting on Steam.
