Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic maps and weapons with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.
What Makes Reload Mode Unique?
Reload mode offers a thrilling comeback mechanic: your squad can be revived as long as one member survives. A complete squad wipe, however, means game over. This high-stakes gameplay applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
The mode features a curated selection of unvaulted weapons, including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. Vehicles are absent, encouraging closer, more intense combat.
Victory Crowns remain, and eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode). Rebooted players return with a common Assault Rifle. A dynamic Reboot Timer adds pressure, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, but can be shortened by eliminating opponents.
