First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2

A new teaser reveals core gameplay elements for The Sinking City 2: combat, exploration, and investigation—all crucial components of this direct sequel. While the footage shown is pre-alpha, expect significant refinements in graphics, animations, and potentially gameplay mechanics before launch.

This survival horror game continues the story directly from its predecessor, unfolding in a flood-ravaged Arkham. The supernatural deluge has decimated the city, transforming it into a breeding ground for monstrous creatures.

To bolster development and reward fans, Frogwares has launched a Kickstarter campaign aiming for €100,000 (approximately $105,000). These funds will also support playtesting, ensuring a polished final product. The game is being built on Unreal Engine 5.

The Sinking City 2 is slated for release in 2025 on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
