Konami Unveils Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection for Switch and Steam
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is officially headed to Nintendo Switch and Steam! Konami's announcement confirms a selection of beloved early Yu-Gi-Oh! games, promising a trip down memory lane for longtime fans.
The initial lineup includes:
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists
- Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2
While Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 were previously announced, Konami promises a total of ten classic games in the final collection. The full roster will be revealed at a later date.
Konami acknowledges the limitations of these original Game Boy releases. To enhance the modern experience, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will feature online battles, save/load functionality, and online co-op where applicable in the original games. Further improvements include quality-of-life updates and customizable button layouts and backgrounds.
