Tencent's Polaris Quest unveils its ambitious open-world RPG, Light of Motiram, slated for mobile, PC, and console release. Initial announcements via Chinese social media, reported by Gematsu, confirm releases on Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 5, and seemingly mobile devices.

The game's feature list is impressively expansive, blurring genre lines. Described as an open-world RPG, it incorporates base-building (reminiscent of Rust), creature collection and customization (evoking Palworld), and even giant mechanical animals reminiscent of Horizon Zero Dawn. The sheer scope of features raises questions about its feasibility, especially on mobile.

The game's diverse mechanics might be a response to accusations of copying other titles. While ambitious, the visual fidelity and complex systems leave some doubt about a smooth cross-platform launch. A mobile beta is reportedly in development, offering a glimpse into how Tencent and Polaris Quest will adapt the game for mobile devices.

Further details on the mobile release remain scarce. In the meantime, explore our list of top five new mobile games for some immediate gaming satisfaction!
