Marvel Snap shakes things up with the new Sanctum Showdown mode

Author : Grace Mar 21,2025

Conquer the Sanctum in Marvel Snap's new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown! Available until March 11th, this mode introduces a thrilling new way to play.

Reach 16 points first to claim victory—a significant departure from the standard six-turn matches. The Sanctum location is key, awarding the most points each turn, making strategic placement crucial. A unique twist on snapping also adds to the excitement. Starting on turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's point value, creating dynamic shifts in momentum.

Entry requires one Scroll, but victory earns you another, fueling continuous play. Begin with 12 Scrolls, replenishing by two every eight hours. Run out? Purchase more for 40 Gold. Regardless of win or loss, each match increases your Sorcerer Rank and rewards you with Charms, redeemable in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetics and new cards.

Prepare for a strategic battle! Certain cards and locations are banned to ensure fair play, including those that manipulate final scores. Cards like Debrii are also excluded to prevent overly dominant strategies. Think carefully about your deck composition! Our Marvel Snap tier list can help you build the perfect team for this challenge.

Looking to add Laufey, Gorgon, or Uncle Ben to your collection? Sanctum Showdown offers your only chance to acquire them before their March 13th Token Shop debut. Participate in Portal Pulls for a chance to unlock these cards, along with up to four Series 4 or 5 cards, completely free!

Don't miss out! Sanctum Showdown ends March 11th. Visit the official website for details.
