Still haven't completed your card collection from Pokémon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians expansion that launched just three weeks ago? Tough luck - another expansion is already on its way. Dubbed Extradimensional Crisis, this update arrives May 29 featuring bizarre Ultra Beasts and the eerie synthetic Pokémon Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis focuses on the Ultra Beasts, those alien-looking creatures from Pokémon Sun and Moon that hail from another dimension. Confirmed cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. The expansion also brings additional Alola region Pokémon beyond those introduced in Celestial Guardians, along with Type: Null (likely meaning its evolution Silvally will appear too).
New Expansion Brings Fresh Collectibles
The expansion introduces themed cosmetics including an Ultra Beast-inspired binder cover available through shop tickets starting May 29, plus a floral display board purchasable with event tickets during the Wonder Pick event beginning June 11.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady release schedule since its debut last year. While Extradimensional Crisis qualifies as a minor booster expansion (offering only one pack type instead of multiple), it arrives remarkably soon after previous releases. This marks the game's seventh overall expansion and fourth smaller update alongside Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all expansions remain available in-game...
for how much longer remains uncertain.
