Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support
The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies offers a holiday makeover of Liberty Falls, but it also introduces unique mechanics for weapon upgrades and item acquisition. This guide details how to enhance your arsenal and secure essential support items.
Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Instead, players rely on Aether Tools to upgrade their weapons. These consumable items come in various rarity tiers (color-coded), directly boosting your weapon's rarity to that level. For instance, a purple (legendary) Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to legendary rarity.
Here's how to obtain Aether Tools:
- Church Spire Easter Egg: Locate the zombie head atop the church spire. Throwing a grenade at it will trigger a zombie drop, potentially yielding an Aether Tool. Higher rounds increase the chance of a higher-rarity Aether Tool.
- Bank Vault: Loot keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the bank vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing these trials, particularly at higher reward tiers, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: This instantly upgrades your weapon to legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, and Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources increase in rarity as the round progresses.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, Cryo Freeze is the only available Ammo Mod in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item and is primarily found within Holiday Presents. Higher rounds increase the likelihood of higher-rarity rewards from these presents.
Holiday Presents can be obtained in several ways:
- Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop upon eliminating enemies.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: This power-up yields either multiple Holiday Presents ("Nice") or spawns numerous vermin enemies ("Naughty").
- S.A.M. Machine: The S.A.M. Machine spawns several Holiday Presents upon activation.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench is also absent in Jingle Hells, eliminating the use of Salvage for crafting equipment and support items like Chopper Gunners, Mutant Injections, or Self Revives. However, these items can still be acquired:
- Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemy kills.
- Holiday Presents: These can contain equipment.
- Special and Elite Enemy Kills: Support items can drop from these enemies.
- S.A.M. Trials: These trials can reward both equipment and support items.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: These boxes have a chance to contain equipment and support items.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
