War Thunder Mobile Soars with Open Beta Aircraft Battles!
Gaijin Entertainment has launched the open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat. This update introduces over 100 planes from three nations (USA, Germany, and USSR), with more to come. While the game previously featured aircraft in limited roles, this beta introduces a full-fledged aviation tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.
Explore Iconic Aircraft and Expand Your Arsenal
Players can pilot iconic aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. Progress through national tech trees individually or explore multiple nations. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired via blueprints earned in in-game events, with the first event starting in early October.
The new Aviation campaign provides access to the aircraft hangar, where players can research tech trees, upgrade crews, and customize their squadrons (up to four planes). Aircraft modifications and armament choices add strategic depth to battles.

The aircraft hangar serves as a central hub between battles. Here, players can manage their vehicles, select camouflage, examine the tech tree, and invite friends to squadrons. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify armaments, or upgrade crews. Squadrons can be built using any available aircraft, regardless of class, nation, or rank.
