Get ready for a fashionable fight in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, bringing stylish battles and exciting new Pokémon.
Key Event Highlights:
- Shadow Palkia Rescue: Confront Team GO Rocket, battle Giovanni, and rescue Shadow Palkia. A special research task will provide a Super Rocket Radar to help you track Giovanni down.
- New Pokémon Debuts: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai, make their Pokémon GO debut! Hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs.
- Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): On January 19th (2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time), participate in Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day for increased chances of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh and the chance to teach it Sacred Fire. A paid event ticket ($5) offers additional rewards.
- Shadow Pokémon Encounters: Battle and rescue a variety of Shadow Pokémon, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Shiny versions may appear! Remote Raid Passes are now available for Shadow Raids.
- Team GO Rocket Increased Activity: Expect to encounter Team GO Rocket at PokéStops and in balloons more frequently. Use Charged TMs to remove Frustration from your Shadow Pokémon.
- Event Rewards: Complete Field Research tasks for rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. A special Collection Challenge rewards Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.
