Darkhold Battle Pass Unveiled in Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Dark and Bloody Battle Pass

Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season plunges players into a gothic horror-themed experience dominated by Dracula, with a stellar battle pass offering a wealth of exclusive rewards.

The Darkhold battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), boasts an impressive lineup of 10 character skins, along with sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. Completing the pass rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units, usable for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. A key advantage: unfinished passes don't expire, allowing players to complete them at their own pace.

A recent trailer showcased some of the striking new skins: Magneto as the regal King Magnus (House of M inspired), Rocket Raccoon with a Wild West makeover, and an Iron Man sporting Dark Souls-esque armor. Peni Parker gets a vibrant blue and white costume, while Namor dons a green and gold ensemble.

Here's a closer look at the Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:

  • Loki – All-Butcher
  • Moon Knight – Blood Moon Knight
  • Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter
  • Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula
  • Magneto – King Magnus
  • Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner
  • Iron Man – Blood Edge Armor
  • Adam Warlock – Blood Soul
  • Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron
  • Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The season's dark aesthetic is pervasive, extending to the new maps featuring a blood moon over New York City. Wolverine's skin evokes Van Helsing, Loki's All-Butcher costume is menacingly dark, and Moon Knight sports a stark black and white design. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple attire and Adam Warlock's golden armor with crimson cape complete the thematic ensemble.

While the battle pass is generating significant excitement, some players express surprise at the absence of skins for the debuting Fantastic Four. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic will appear in Season 1, but their cosmetic options will be available separately in the in-game shop. With a plethora of new content on the horizon, the anticipation for future Marvel Rivals updates is high.
