Author : Oliver May 15,2025

Schedule I developer Tyler has released the much-anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players following a brief testing period. The update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, introduces a slew of new features to the viral hit drug dealer simulator.

Launched to explosive success on Steam in early access on March 24, Schedule I's first major content update, v0.3.4, brings a functional pawn shop, a boutique store, wall decorations, and more to the game. In a post on Steam, Tyler apologized for the delay, stating, “I'm still ironing out the update/testing process.” He reassured players that larger monthly updates will commence next month, promising smoother and timely releases.

Looking ahead, Tyler is prioritizing the resolution of remaining bugs, focusing on:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save game corruption and disappearance. Tyler has collaborated with Valve to enhance the save file format, making it more compatible with Steam Cloud saves and less susceptible to corruption.
  • Minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer.

Additionally, Tyler aims to improve optimization and secure Schedule I's Steam Deck verification as soon as possible, using it as a performance benchmark.

For those looking to delve deeper into the game, check out IGN's Schedule I guide. It covers the basics of mixing recipes, creating new blends to maximize profit, accessing console commands, and the quickest way to dive into multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

PlaySchedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, surpassing big titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube propelled it to fame. In the game, players start as small-time dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point, working their way up to become drug kingpins by manufacturing and distributing various substances. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler, Schedule I's explosive launch was described by Tyler as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on reddit, Tyler expressed his surprise at the response, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
