- A Space for the Unbound is set for an early April launch.
- Keep an eye out for this pre-apocalyptic adventure.
- Follow the story of high-school sweethearts Atma and Raya.
As spring arrives and the weather warms up, there are still several major releases worth watching. One of them is the pre-apocalyptic teenage romance A Space for the Unbound, which is excitingly scheduled for a very soon release on April 4th!
Set in 1990s rural Indonesia, A Space for the Unbound follows the lives of high-school sweethearts Atma and Raya. If you're concerned this might be a dry teen drama, don't be—with a supernatural apocalypse threatening to end the world, the stakes couldn't be higher.
You'll explore the Indonesian countryside and interact with various residents of the protagonists' hometown. Delve into the minds of NPCs, Inception-style, and encounter bizarre supernatural occurrences as the end draws near.
BoundlessAs Dann noted back in October last year, Balatro appears to have sparked a wave of ports coming to mobile. While I don't necessarily agree with that conclusion (I believe this trend has been building for a while), there's no denying that Balatro demonstrated mobile's potential as a goldmine, even as indie developers like those behind A Space for the Unbound have been innovating quietly in the background.
Of course, this leads to a concern, at least for me, that smaller releases like A Space for the Unbound—which may not have massive indie acclaim—could be overlooked.
