Kazuma Kaneko, the iconic designer renowned for his work on Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, and Devil Summoner, is set to captivate gamers once again with his new project, Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter. Developed by COLOPL, this thrilling roguelike deck-building game will be available on PC, iOS, and Android platforms. Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter seamlessly blends Kaneko’s signature dark, mythological aesthetic with strategic, card-based combat, promising an unforgettable gaming experience.

Set in the futuristic landscape of Tokyo Bay, the game unfolds within The Hashira, a towering high-rise transformed into a sealed-off battleground. This mysterious edifice is now home to gods and demons, and an elite national defense force known as Tsukuyomi has been tasked with reaching the top floor to eliminate a formidable target. If you've delved into Kaneko’s previous works, you'll recognize the game's setting, which masterfully intertwines urban decay with supernatural horror, creating an eerie and tense atmosphere. The fusion of mythology and cyberpunk themes promises to immerse players in a unique world when it launches later this year.

As a roguelike card game, Tsukuyomi challenges players to build a deck of powerful abilities while navigating an ever-changing dungeon. Each playthrough offers a fresh experience with varying cards, dungeon layouts, and enemy encounters, ensuring no two runs are the same. Combat is fast-paced and turn-based, demanding quick decision-making as players must choose between attack or defense moves within the confines of a single action per turn.

Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Gameplay

Exploration within the game features branching paths and crucial decisions that shape your journey. Each choice carries lasting consequences, influencing battles and resource availability. True to the roguelike genre, failure is harsh; losing a fight means losing all progress and starting over from scratch, making strategic planning essential.

Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is slated for release around June 30th, although this date is subject to change. To stay updated and secure your spot, you can pre-register by clicking on your preferred link below.
