The karma system plays a pivotal role in determining a character's fate after they pass away. Depending on their deeds, characters may either transition peacefully to the afterlife or be condemned to roam as ghosts among the living. To achieve final rest and leave the mortal realm, these ghostly entities must accumulate the necessary karma points.
In the early access version of InZOI, players will encounter ghosts, though the ability to control them won't be available until a later update. Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim emphasized that InZOI is fundamentally a game centered around real-life experiences, with paranormal elements being carefully integrated to maintain a balance.
